Food Vendor Application
Persian New Year Festival 2026
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Food Vendor at the Persian New Year Festival (PNYF).
Please review the information below carefully before submitting your application and completing payment.
Event Information
- Event Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026
- Festival Time: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Location: Scottsdale Waterfront
- Application Deadline: Monday, February 23, 2026 — 11:30 PM
General Rules & Policies
- Only food items listed on your application and approved in advance may be sold at the festival.
- Vendor insurance is required and must be obtained by the vendor. Insurance is not provided by the festival.
- There is no rain date. No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
- Electricity is available in limited locations upon request. Vendors are responsible for their own connections and equipment.
- Vendors must provide their own credit card processing system (e.g., Square).
- A current Food Handler License is required.

Permits & Licenses (Vendor Responsibility)
All vendors are responsible for obtaining required permits, licenses, and paying applicable fees and taxes, including but not limited to:
Vendor Items & Restrictions
- Only approved food items listed on the application may be displayed or sold.
- Vendors must stay within the boundaries of their assigned booth space.
- Festival staff may inspect vendor booths at any time for compliance.
The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Alcohol
- Counterfeit or unlicensed merchandise
- Weapons, ammunition, or drug paraphernalia
- Items prohibited by Arizona or Federal law
- Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate materials (as determined by the festival committee)
Setup Information
- Setup Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Vendors may arrive after 8:00 AM only.
- Setup times are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis once the application and full payment are received.
- All booths must be fully set up and all vehicles removed by 12:00 PM.
- Parking is not permitted in the immediate festival area.
- Vendors are responsible for any damage caused by their vehicles.
- Booth locations will be assigned prior to the event.
- All sidewalks must remain clear and safe in accordance with City of Scottsdale regulations.
Tear Down
- Tear Down Time: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Early tear-down is not permitted.
- Vendors are responsible for disposing of all trash properly.
- Booth spaces must be left clean and in good condition.
- Cleanup or damage fees may apply if areas are left unkept.
Payment Terms
- Payment must be submitted with the application.
- Accepted payment methods: Credit Card or Check.
- Vendor participation is not guaranteed until the application is approved and payment is received in full.
Advertising & Promotion
- Vendors may advertise at their own expense.
- Vendors are encouraged to tag and promote the festival on social media:
- Any advertising using the festival name or branding must be approved by the festival chair prior to publication.
Terms & Conditions
- The festival provides no guarantees or warranties of any kind.
- No refunds will be issued for vendor no-shows.
- No refunds will be issued due to weather, acts of God, terrorism, war, or unforeseen cancellations.
- Vendors may not leave the festival prior to the official closing time of 9:00 PM.
- Vendor space is confirmed only after approval by a festival officer.
