Food Vendor Application

Persian New Year Festival 2026

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Food Vendor at the Persian New Year Festival (PNYF). Please review the information below carefully before submitting your application and completing payment.

Event Information

  • Event Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026
  • Festival Time: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Location: Scottsdale Waterfront
  • Application Deadline: Monday, February 23, 2026 — 11:30 PM

General Rules & Policies

  • Only food items listed on your application and approved in advance may be sold at the festival.
  • Vendor insurance is required and must be obtained by the vendor. Insurance is not provided by the festival.
  • There is no rain date. No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Electricity is available in limited locations upon request. Vendors are responsible for their own connections and equipment.
  • Vendors must provide their own credit card processing system (e.g., Square).
  • A current Food Handler License is required.

Permits & Licenses (Vendor Responsibility)

All vendors are responsible for obtaining required permits, licenses, and paying applicable fees and taxes, including but not limited to:

  • Temporary Food Establishment Permit (Maricopa County): https://www.maricopa.gov/3976/Special-EventsFarmers-Markets
  • Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT): https://azdor.gov/transaction-privilege-tax-tpt
  • Arizona Cottage Food Laws (for baked goods): http://pickyourown.org/CottageFoodLaws-Arizona

Vendor Items & Restrictions

  • Only approved food items listed on the application may be displayed or sold.
  • Vendors must stay within the boundaries of their assigned booth space.
  • Festival staff may inspect vendor booths at any time for compliance.

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Alcohol
  • Counterfeit or unlicensed merchandise
  • Weapons, ammunition, or drug paraphernalia
  • Items prohibited by Arizona or Federal law
  • Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate materials (as determined by the festival committee)

Setup Information

  • Setup Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Vendors may arrive after 8:00 AM only.
  • Setup times are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis once the application and full payment are received.
  • All booths must be fully set up and all vehicles removed by 12:00 PM.
  • Parking is not permitted in the immediate festival area.
  • Vendors are responsible for any damage caused by their vehicles.
  • Booth locations will be assigned prior to the event.
  • All sidewalks must remain clear and safe in accordance with City of Scottsdale regulations.

Tear Down

  • Tear Down Time: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Early tear-down is not permitted.
  • Vendors are responsible for disposing of all trash properly.
  • Booth spaces must be left clean and in good condition.
  • Cleanup or damage fees may apply if areas are left unkept.

Payment Terms

  • Payment must be submitted with the application.
  • Accepted payment methods: Credit Card or Check.
  • Vendor participation is not guaranteed until the application is approved and payment is received in full.

Advertising & Promotion

  • Vendors may advertise at their own expense.
  • Vendors are encouraged to tag and promote the festival on social media:

  • Any advertising using the festival name or branding must be approved by the festival chair prior to publication.

Terms & Conditions

  • The festival provides no guarantees or warranties of any kind.
  • No refunds will be issued for vendor no-shows.
  • No refunds will be issued due to weather, acts of God, terrorism, war, or unforeseen cancellations.
  • Vendors may not leave the festival prior to the official closing time of 9:00 PM.
  • Vendor space is confirmed only after approval by a festival officer.

Goods & Services Vendor Application

Persian New Year Festival 2026

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Goods & Services Vendor at the Persian New Year Festival (PNYF) 2026. Please review the rules and policies below carefully before submitting your application and completing payment.

Event Information

  • Event Date: Saturday, March 7, 2026
  • Festival Time: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Location: Scottsdale Waterfront
  • Application Deadline: Monday, February 23, 2026 — 11:30 PM

  • ⚠️ Note: This application is for non-food vendors only. Vendors selling food or beverages must apply through the Food Vendor Application.

Setup Information

  • Setup Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Vendors may arrive after 8:00 AM only.
  • Exact setup times will be assigned prior to the event on a first-come, first-served basis, based on completed application and full payment.
  • All booths must be fully set up and all vehicles removed from the festival area by 12:00 PM.
  • Parking is not permitted in the immediate festival area.
  • Vendors are responsible for any damage caused by their vehicles.
  • Booth locations will be assigned prior to the event.
  • All sidewalks must remain clear, clean, and safe in accordance with City of Scottsdale guidelines and permit requirements.

Tear Down

  • Tear Down Time: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Early tear-down is not permitted.
  • Vendors are responsible for disposing of all trash in designated receptacles.
  • Booth areas must be left in the same or better condition than upon arrival.
  • Cleanup or damage fees may apply if areas are left unkept or damaged.

  • No refunds will be issued for vendor no-shows.
  • No refunds will be issued due to weather, acts of God, or unforeseen cancellations.

🚪 Main Stage Entrance Area

High-traffic area located at the main entrance to the Main Stage This area benefits from continuous foot traffic as guests enter and exit the main stage viewing area throughout the festival.

⚠️ Electricity Notice:

Basic electricity is included. Vendors with multiple or high-power electrical needs should add a generator.

This application is for Food (not Good & Services)
Vendors may use their own payment systems.
No refunds for no-shows or early departure.
Vendors may not vacate the festival before 9:00 PM.
Final booth placement within each area is determined by the festival team.
